The Clarion Write-A-Thon has kicked off once again! I’m trying to bash my way through a novel, so I’ve signed up. The novel is based on a short story I wrote for the 2015 Write-A-Thon, which ended up in The Orange Volume, a fundraiser anthology put together by my Clarion class (2012! The Awkward Robots!) and then was published as a reprint in Nightmare.
At a retreat waaaay back in 2014, the AwkBots decided we’d try to put out one of these anthologies every year, each titled a new color in that whole rainbow ROY G. BIV color scheme.
Perfect for pride, really, now that I think about it!
Anyway, this year it’s The Indigo Volume. E.G. Cosh has done all our covers, and will hopefully do another stunner this year. I’ll have a new story out in it, starring my old pal and dead person crush Siegfried Sassoon.
But in the meantime, I’m working on this novel, and for every word I write, you can pledge some dough to Clarion, which changed my life and honestly is the reason you’ve ever read anything I’ve written. AND for any Write-A-Thon donation of ANY AMOUNT (even ONE CENT) you will get a copy of The Indigo Volume, which will be cool of really awesome stuff.
You can find out more about our previous volumes (and, I think, download them?) HERE. You can donate to my Write-A-Thon efforts HERE. Skint? No problem, me too. I get it. But if you have a second to RT, or share, or shout from the rooftop, that’s appreciated as well.
